For this feature, I wrote the Government section. I interviewed the mayors of Westchester's three largest cities - Noam Bramson, Mayor of New Rochelle, Tom Roach, Mayor of White Plains and Mike Spano, Mayor of Yonkers, and also featured several other government officials, including Deputy County Executive Ken Jenkins, Yorktown Town Supervisor Matt Slater, Bridget Gibbons, Westchester's Economic Development Director and the county's DA, Mimi Rocah.

For this article, I profiled several influential Black leaders (politicians and business leaders) who are making an impact on life in Westchester for Black History Month.
